Crane Operator Trainer / Instructor
MC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Crane Operator Instructor for a long-term, full-time position based in Seagoville, TX.
This is a great opportunity for a self-starting, mechanically inclined individual who’s ready to step away from jobsite pressures and transition into a laid-back, professional training environment. The instructor will primarily be responsible for preparing students for the NCCCO crane certification exam, both written and practical.
While occasional travel opportunities may arise, this is primarily an on-site role. The right candidate will take pride in helping others succeed, possess deep industry experience, and thrive in a calm, focused teaching setting.
Deliver hands-on and classroom instruction for crane operator certification prep
Ensure students understand both safety protocols and practical applications
Support students in passing the NCCCO exam (written & practical)
Maintain equipment and training tools
Occasionally assist with curriculum improvements or remote training opportunities
Minimum 10 years of crane operation experience or equivalent industry references
Mechanical aptitude is a must
NCCCO Practical Proctor certification preferred but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
